In the framework of Networking activities with other projects, 4CE-MED has linked up with CARINA which plans to carry out collaborative actions in the coming months, in particular the organization of meetings between both projects for results presentation and analysis of present and future collaboration.
Both projects have established an interaction plan which includes technical visits to the CARINA & 4CE-MED demonstration farms. The two projects will capitalize on communication efforts and dissemination of results thanks to the communications tools that both have developed.
This interaction will bring together the organizations that make up the two consortia and the activities and results achieved by each of the initiatives.
The two projects share a reference entity in camelina sativa research UNIBO as project leader, which is an opportunity to exchange findings and new opportunities for collaboration in the field.

CARinata and CameIINA to boost sustainable diversification in EU farming systems.
The project focuses on new sustainable and diversified farming systems including 2 new oilseed crops, carinata, and camelina, able to provide multiple low iLUC feedstocks for the bio-based economy.
