- On 18th November 2021, the second screening trial was sowed in Spain at Entresierras experimental farm (Ciudad Real province, Castilla La Mancha community) under a typical rainfed sole-cropping system consisting in barley-fallow. 20 camelina varieties are being tested within a randomized design and 4 replicates for the optimization of the better adapted varieties to local conditions.

- On 20th December 2021 the second trial (Camelina sowing strategies for the locally adapted 4CE-MED systems) has been sowed as the first sowing date at La Isla Experimental Farm (IMIDRA, Madrid, Spain) . CCE’s Alba variety has been sowed at 700plants/m2 under minimum tillage vs. direct drill and with two different sowing techniques: broadcast vs row seeding. The second sowing under the sane conditions will take place in January.
