One of the aims of the 4CE-MED community is to generate synergies with linked projects. During the last period of 4CE-MED, our Spanish partner Camelina Company Spain has held two lighthouses exploring synergies with UNTWIST & CARINA projects.
- On 08th May 2024_double cropping lighthouse at Penelles, Lleida province took place. Sixteen people were present at the two CARINA’s lighthouses with farmers.There were only 3 that cultivated camelina in the past.
- On 10th May 2024_Intercropping at IMIDRA Experimental Farm in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid province. Around 25 people 50% women attended the presentations and the trial visit. Difficulties and challenges regarding intercropping sowing and harvest were discussed.
A presentation about the crop and the main results and achievements of the EU projects 4CE-MED & UNTWIST were presented by Camelina Company Spain.
