In the context of Work Package 3, a demonstration field was planted at the end of October 2023 on a farm located close to Padova in North Italy. The trial was established using the minimum tillage technique, and the variety Alba was planted at a sowing rate of 7 kilograms per hectare. The plants are performing well in terms of growth and are currently beginning the phase of stem elongation, despite considering that heavy rains have occurred over the past few weeks. For the purpose of demonstrating the outcomes of the 4CE-MED project to farmers and other stakeholders, a demonstration field day is scheduled to take place the following month.
